Patricia Bubner

Patricia Bubner is the CEO and co-founder of Orbillion Bio, a cultivated meat company based in San Francisco, USA. Under her leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup has raised over $15 million in funding from investors including At One Ventures and Hub71. Additionally, she has established strategic partnerships with two global food companies representing $280 billion in combined revenue. Prior to founding Orbillion Bio, she led bioprocess scaling for mammalian cells at Boehringer Ingelheim, worked in advanced battery technology at Sila Nanotechnologies, and co-founded the agricultural initiative themilletproject.org. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and an MSc in Technical Chemistry from Graz University of Technology, followed by postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley. Bubner currently focuses on applying her biopharma scale-up expertise to commercialize sustainable, cell-cultured ground beef alternatives for the global food technology and climate tech markets.
