Patience Marime-Ball is the Founder of Women of the World Endowment, an impact investment organization she established in 2018. Previously, she served as Principal Investment Officer and Global Head of Banking on Women at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she developed the institution's dedicated Banking on Women platform. During her tenure at the IFC, she also designed the Global Trade Liquidity Program and co-developed the first gender bond issued on the Uridashi market. Beyond her primary executive roles, she serves as Board Vice Chair of the International Center for Research on Women and sits on the Impact Advisory Committee for Apollo Global Management Inc. Holding a joint JD-MBA from Northwestern University, Marime-Ball focuses her career on leveraging capital markets and philanthropy to drive investments at the intersection of gender equality and global environmental challenges.
