Pascual Cortes-Monroy

Pascual Cortes-Monroy is a Vice President at Northzone, a multi-stage venture capital firm, based in London, UK. He focuses on early-stage investments across artificial intelligence, fintech, healthcare, and vertical SaaS, deploying capital from the firm's one billion euro fund raised in 2022. Before joining Northzone in January 2022, he was an early employee at the applied AI climate tech startup Lemu, where he led strategy and space teams to launch Chile’s first commercial satellite announced at COP26. Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy consultant within the private equity group at Bain and Company. He holds degrees in political science and global affairs from Amherst College and Tsinghua University, where he was a Schwarzman Scholar. His current focus centers on leveraging data and computational advances to transform traditional industries through targeted early-stage venture backing.
