Parsa Modareszadeh

Parsa Modareszadeh is the Co-Founder and President of Velorum Therapeutics, an early-stage biotechnology enterprise focused on developing novel pharmacological treatments for severe diseases. Formally established in 2023 with initial seed funding, the startup is currently advancing a preclinical pipeline of specialized therapeutics specifically targeting rare and complex genetic disorders. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Modareszadeh was recognized by the federally endowed Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation for his extensive undergraduate research in molecular biology. His foundational scientific expertise was developed through rigorous academic research fellowships and laboratory training at institutions including UC Berkeley, where he concentrated on early-stage drug discovery mechanisms. Modareszadeh currently focuses on bridging the critical gap between academic molecular biology research and commercial drug development to address significant unmet medical needs across the broader global healthcare sector.
