Parker Hinshaw

Parker Hinshaw is the Founder of Bootstrap Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Solana Beach, California. Before establishing the investment firm in 2012, he founded MaxIT Healthcare Holdings, an Indiana healthcare technology company that was ultimately acquired in a $473 million transaction. Alongside his wife and co-founder Jean Balgrosky, Hinshaw manages a $5 million seed fund and a $10 million venture fund targeting the intersection of healthcare and technology. The firm executes investments ranging from $100,000 to $5 million across the biotechnology, digital health, and health information technology sectors, completing over fifty deals. His early portfolio included $14.3 million deployed across various regional technology firms by 2013, and he also maintains involvement with UCLA Philanthropy. Hinshaw currently focuses on supporting early-stage, technology-enabled healthcare solutions through strategic capital deployment and operational guidance.
