Paolo Boero is a London-based independent investor and advisor specializing in early-stage technology ventures across Europe. He previously spent seven years as an investment professional at Index Ventures from 2014 to 2021, where he backed more than 20 companies and was involved with notable portfolio assets including Revolut and Deliveroo. Before his tenure at Index Ventures, Boero held investment roles at Amadeus Capital Partners and earned an MBA from INSEAD following his undergraduate studies in economics at the University of Turin. After transitioning to independent investing in 2021, he joined the European venture capital fund Speedinvest as an advisor in 2023 and recently spoke on artificial intelligence investment trends at TechCrunch Disrupt Europe in October 2024.
