Pandu Ranganath

Pandu Ranganath is a Managing Director at Battery Ventures based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2022, he served as Vice President of Product at Okta, where he contributed to the company's successful initial public offering and subsequent market expansion. His earlier operational experience includes engineering leadership positions at Salesforce and Tibco, focusing on enterprise software and cloud infrastructure. Ranganath holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern Kellogg, a Master of Science from the University of Texas, and a Bachelor of Science from RV College of Engineering. As an investor, he has backed more than 20 companies, recently leading a funding round for an artificial intelligence security startup in March 2025. His current investment strategy centers on scaling early-stage enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and machine learning platforms.
