Pal Breiland

Pal Breiland is the Chief Financial Officer at Investinor, Norway's largest venture capital investor, and is currently based in Norway. He originally joined the firm in 2011 as an Investment Director before assuming his current executive position, where he oversees financial strategy for a portfolio of approximately 700 direct and indirect company holdings. In this capacity, Breiland manages nearly nine billion Norwegian kroner in total capital and has executed over 150 transactions across the software, deep tech, life science, and aquaculture sectors. Prior to his extensive tenure at Investinor, he held financial sector roles at NorgesInvestor and earned a degree in business administration from BI Norwegian Business School. His venture capital background centers on guiding both early-stage and growth-stage investments, contributing to more than ten successful portfolio exits and several successful initial public offerings.
