Paddy Burns

Paddy Burns is the Principal and co-founder of the investment firm Chroma Ventures, as well as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of 4J Studios. With over 25 years of executive experience in the video game industry, he built 4J Studios into a major development firm responsible for creating complex console ports for globally recognized titles. Under his leadership, the studio developed the highly successful console editions of the hit video game Minecraft, partnering directly with major global hardware manufacturers including Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. Through Chroma Ventures, which he established alongside co-founder Chris, Burns now directs flexible capital into early-stage and established technology-led businesses demonstrating high-growth potential across multiple sectors in the United Kingdom. His current focus centers on leveraging his extensive interactive entertainment background to identify, fund, and scale emerging technology enterprises and innovative gaming ventures.
