Previously, I was a partner at Microsoft, leading PostgreSQL engineering teams. I came to Microsoft through its acquisition of Citus Data (S11). I was the cofounder and CTO at Citus, and I learned a lot about doing startups there. Before all this, I built distributed systems at Amazon.
