Osezele Orukpe

Osezele Orukpe is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Blueloop Inc., a fintech startup based in Lagos, Nigeria. Alongside co-founders Ben Eluan and Israel Akintunde, he developed Flux, a cross-border payments application combining cryptocurrency wallets and digital banking, which originated from their research at Obafemi Awolowo University. Under his technical leadership, the platform scaled following its September 2020 launch, processing $460,000 in transactions within three months and reaching $700,000 in monthly transaction volume by late 2020. The company secured $77,000 in pre-seed funding before being accepted into the Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch, where it received an additional $125,000 seed investment. Prior to Blueloop, Orukpe built Jupa, a university project that attracted over 20,000 student users. His current focus centers on scaling cross-border payment infrastructure and integrating digital banking solutions across the African market.
