Oscar Avatare

Oscar Avatare is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Saphira AI, an artificial intelligence compliance platform based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2024 and backed by a $500,000 investment from Y Combinator, his six-person startup automates regulatory reporting for hardware products to reduce certification times by up to 70 percent. The software enables hardware manufacturers to efficiently generate required safety certifications across UL, CE, and ISO standards. Before launching Saphira AI, Avatare worked as a battery safety engineer at Tesla and managed complex datasets for Siri and the Vision Pro headset at Apple. His prior technical career also includes software engineering roles focused on machine learning frameworks and real-time workflow configuration at Meta. Avatare currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to accelerate functional safety engineering and market entry for industrial robotics and connected devices.
