Omar Sebai

Omar Sebai is an Investment Associate at Valia Ventures based in New York City, where he focuses on early-stage technology investments. Since joining the venture capital firm in September 2019, he has been responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing seed-stage investment opportunities across multiple emerging sectors. Prior to his transition into venture capital, Sebai began his professional career working as a consultant at the professional services firm PwC and subsequently held various operational roles at early-stage technology startups. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University in 2019 and expanded his startup ecosystem involvement by becoming a mentor for the Techstars New York Program in September 2023. Sebai currently directs his primary investment focus toward identifying and supporting high-growth companies operating within the vertical software, artificial intelligence applications, and financial technology markets.
