Omar Kassim

Omar Kassim is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nomod, a financial technology startup based in the United Kingdom. Established in 2019 with backing from Y Combinator, Nomod provides business banking and payment link solutions to more than 22,000 merchants across the United Arab Emirates, with a planned expansion into Saudi Arabia in early 2025. Prior to his current venture, Kassim founded the Middle Eastern e-commerce platform JadoPado, which he sold to Noon.com in May 2017. An engineering graduate of the University of Warwick, he subsequently launched the payment application Lunatap in 2018 and currently holds board positions at Amana Bank and Esanjo Ventures. Recognized among Inc. Arabia's top thirty regional tech innovators in 2024, Kassim remains focused on building scalable digital payment infrastructure and e-commerce ecosystems for emerging markets across the MENA region.
