Omair Ahmed

Omair Ahmed is a Principal of Strategic Investment at Echo Health Ventures in Boston, Massachusetts. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has managed deal sourcing and transaction execution, currently serving as a Board Observer for four portfolio companies: Embold Health, Scipher Medicine, Springbuk, and Vori Health. Previously, Ahmed worked as a consultant at Accenture Strategy advising healthcare clients on go-to-market and merger strategies, and held investment roles at Merck’s Global Health Innovation Fund and 7Wire Ventures. He earned a bachelor's degree from the NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, and was later named a 2023 Rising Star in Global Corporate Venturing. His current investment focus centers on data-driven healthcare innovation, novel care models for high-cost conditions, and solutions addressing the healthcare affordability crisis.
