Olumide Ojo

Olumide Ojo is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Chowdeck, an on-demand food delivery platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in October 2021, the company participated in Y Combinator's S22 batch and secured a $2.5 million seed funding round backed by investors including Novastar Ventures. As the chief technical executive, he oversees the full-stack development and backend architecture that enabled the delivery network to scale its operations across 11 cities. Prior to launching his own venture, Ojo spent several years at the fintech company Paystack, advancing through senior roles including Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Technical Lead. Before his tenure at Paystack, he developed his foundational software engineering expertise while working at PiTech. His professional background centers on designing scalable payment systems and logistics infrastructure for emerging technology markets across the continent of Africa.
