Olivier Martret

Olivier Martret is currently a Principal at Serena Capital, where he focuses on investing in and advising early-stage technology startups. Before joining Serena Capital, he gained foundational experience at a traditional venture capital firm and subsequently spent five years at the startup accelerator 50 Partners. While at 50 Partners, he built technical middleware for the firm's scouting operations and directly assisted more than 15 portfolio companies with their go-to-market strategies, talent acquisition, and fundraising initiatives. His current investment scope spans multiple diverse sectors, including blockchain, consumer technology, entertainment, gaming, digital marketplaces, retail, and enterprise SaaS. Leveraging his technical background, theatrical training, and unique experience as a competitive European sports champion, Martret primarily focuses on acting as a dedicated sparring partner for founders navigating complex growth and operational challenges across the broader technology ecosystem.
