Oliver Lambson

Oliver Lambson is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Karoo, an AI-native consumer lending platform based in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 2024, the three-employee startup was accepted into the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch and targets underserved American consumers. In his current capacity, he led the engineering efforts to deploy the company's first loan within 45 days of development using a zero-code architecture. Prior to establishing Karoo, he worked in engineering and growth at Lendable, where he was responsible for launching and scaling the firm's United States loan products. He holds a master's in manufacturing from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's in mechatronic engineering from the University of Stellenbosch. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence and rapid engineering deployment to build scalable financial technology solutions in the neobanking sector.
