Oliver Keown

Oliver Keown is the Founder of Oath Surgical and a Venture Partner at Intuitive Ventures, currently based in Portland, Oregon. Before launching his own startup, he founded and served as the Managing Director of Intuitive Ventures, the dedicated corporate venture capital arm of the prominent medical device manufacturer Intuitive Surgical. Driven by an identified market opportunity, he recently transitioned from his primary investment leadership role to build Oath Surgical, a healthcare technology company focused on streamlining operations for outpatient surgery centers through proprietary software. Keown originally trained and practiced as a clinical surgeon before shifting his professional trajectory toward healthcare investing, strategic corporate development, and medical entrepreneurship. His current focus centers on leveraging his dual clinical and venture capital expertise to drive technological innovation across minimally invasive procedures and the broader outpatient surgical care market.
