Oliver Hill

Oliver Hill is the cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of Clearspace, a commercial space technology company based in Lausanne, Switzerland. In his current executive role, he leads the technical development of advanced robotic solutions designed specifically for satellite servicing and orbital debris mitigation. Under his technical leadership, the enterprise secured a €30 million Series A funding round in September 2024 led by Seraphim Space and the European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre, following an initial €7.5 million seed round in 2022. Hill is currently directing the engineering efforts for the ClearSpace-1 mission, an in-orbit demonstration project partnered with the European Space Agency that is targeting a launch between 2026 and 2027. His current professional focus remains on advancing commercial space robotics and establishing scalable infrastructure for sustainable operations in the low Earth orbit environment.
