Olga Danilchanka is a Principal at MRL Ventures Fund, the corporate venture capital arm of Merck & Co., based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She holds a doctorate in microbiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. Before joining MRL Ventures Fund, she worked as a researcher at the MRL Cambridge Exploratory Science Center and Epiva Biosciences, an early-stage startup incubated by Flagship Pioneering that later merged with Evelo Biosciences. She currently serves as a Board Director at Therini Bio and holds Board Observer seats at five additional biotechnology companies, including Ambagon Therapeutics, PAQ Therapeutics, and Caraway Therapeutics. Her current focus centers on funding early-stage and preclinical therapeutics companies that translate novel biology into treatments for high unmet medical needs across immunology, the microbiome, and autoimmune diseases.
