Olawale Ayeni

Olawale Ayeni is the Managing Partner of Helios Digital Ventures in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining Helios in 2022, he served as the Head of Venture Capital Investments for Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia at the International Finance Corporation, leading disruptive technology investments and managing a large two billion dollar asset portfolio. His earlier career includes executing twelve billion dollars in transactions as a technology investment banker at JP Morgan, working as a Principal at Orange SA, and holding engineering roles at Intel and Qualcomm. Ayeni holds an MBA from the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business and has held board or advisory positions with BOLT, TradeDepot, TLcom Capital, and Partech Africa. He currently focuses on directing Series B investments into frontier technology sectors like artificial intelligence and financial technology across emerging markets.
