Nurlybek Mursaliyev

Nurlybek Mursaliyev is the founder of Biodock, a Y Combinator-backed cloud AI microscopy automation platform, and previously earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Stanford University. While conducting his academic research on stem cell biology and complex embryo development, he experienced significant manual microscopy analysis challenges firsthand, directly inspiring his current software venture. Biodock's platform is engineered to compress several months of biological data analysis into mere minutes, delivering 30 to 50 percent greater analytical accuracy for major pharmaceutical clients like Pfizer Bio. Prior to his current work developing automated research and development solutions for the broader pharmaceutical industry, he co-founded the medical technology startup SmartLens. Today, Mursaliyev remains focused on the intersection of biotechnology and artificial intelligence, though he is also a dedicated history enthusiast who enjoys visiting historical sites.
