Norman Winarsky

Norman Winarsky is a veteran technology executive and successful entrepreneur based in Palo Alto, California, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, venture capital, and defense technology. He previously served as Executive Vice President at SRI International from 2002 to 2012, notably leading the spinout of Siri Inc, which Apple acquired in 2010 for approximately $200 million. Holding a PhD, MS, and AB from the University of Chicago, Winarsky has built a career bridging academia, government, and industry, including work on early AI projects like Shakey the Robot.
