Nora Doherty

Nora Doherty is a life sciences executive and investor based in Indianapolis, Indiana, currently serving as the Managing Director at the life sciences initiative BioCrossroads. In this executive capacity, she maintains direct oversight of the Indiana Seed Funds, which have invested a total of $24.25 million across 32 life sciences startups since the year 2006. Before assuming her current responsibilities, she worked as the executive vice president of strategy for BioCrossroads and held several key positions at Escient Technologies. During her time at Escient Technologies, she operated as a co-founder, vice president of operations, vice president of legal and human resources administration, and corporate secretary. Her dedication to the life sciences sector was formally recognized when she received the 2022 August M Watanabe Life Sciences Champion of the Year Award at the Indiana Life Sciences Summit.
