Nolan Bushnell is the Chairman of PlayNET in Salt Lake City, Utah, but is best known as the pioneering American entrepreneur who founded Atari in 1972. After popularizing arcade gaming, his success led to Atari’s $2.4 billion acquisition by Warner Communications in 1976, which he followed by co-founding the experiential dining franchise Chuck E. Cheese in 1977. Recognized for his industry contributions, he authored the 2013 book "Finding the Next Steve Jobs" and was inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame and National Inventors Hall of Fame. Continuing his focus on consumer electronics and robotics, he launched PlayNET to revive multiplayer experiences and spoke at the 2024 CES conference regarding artificial intelligence in gaming. The serial entrepreneur also appeared in the 2023 documentary "Thank God It’s Friday: The Arcade Revolution," highlighting his legacy in interactive entertainment.
