Noel Jee

Noel Jee is a Partner on the Growth Investments team at Novo Holdings, based in Burlingame, where he focuses on US life science investments. He originally joined the firm as a Principal in May 2023 and was promoted to his current leadership role just eight months later. Previously, Jee spent two years as a Principal at Sofinnova Investments and four years at Illumina Ventures, which included ten months as Chief Operating Officer at Rebus Biosystems. Earlier in his career, he worked as a management consultant at LEK Consulting, advising biopharma and diagnostics clients on mergers, pipeline prioritization, and expansion. Holding a doctorate in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from UC San Francisco, Jee leverages his scientific background to evaluate opportunities and provide strategic advisory support to portfolio companies developing therapeutics, life science tools, and healthcare platforms.
