Nobuhiko Ichimiya

Nobuhiko Ichimiya is the Managing Director and Principal of Nigeria operations at Asia Africa Investment & Consulting, based in Nigeria. Prior to his current role, he spent three years serving as the Senior Manager of Commercial and Finance at Marubeni Power Asset Management in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. His earlier career encompasses seven years focused on independent power producer and water infrastructure projects across emerging markets. Transitioning into the technology sector, Ichimiya previously operated as the Chief Financial Officer for a Rwanda-based e-commerce startup backed by a major Japanese corporate investor, where he led financial governance and implementation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from Waseda University. Ichimiya currently leverages his corporate finance background to direct venture capital investments, startup finance, and business strategy across developing economies in Africa and Asia.
