Noa Simons

Noa Simons is the President and CEO of the Upstate Capital Association of New York and a Manager at the Hudson Valley Startup Fund, based in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Before her current roles, the Brandeis University graduate served as a Partner at TD Growth Capital in Shanghai focusing on technology sourcing, and worked as the interim CEO of Norton Motorcycles. Since 2018, Simons has directed the NY Business Plan Competition, an inclusive initiative that engages over 500 students from more than 50 colleges annually. She also acts as an advisor for the $5 million Genius NY accelerator program and serves on the investment committee for Launch NY. As an ecosystem builder, she focuses on expanding access to capital for early-stage seed investments across the cleantech, unmanned systems, big data, and technology sectors.
