Nina Kjellson

Nina Kjellson is a General Partner at Canaan Partners based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she focuses on early-stage biopharmaceutical investments. Before joining her current firm, she served as a General Partner at InterWest Partners and earned a Bachelor of Arts in human biology from Stanford University. Beyond her direct venture capital activities, she leads Canaan's Women of Venture program and was selected as a 2018 Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellow. She currently maintains several leadership and advisory positions across the healthcare sector, including serving as Co-Chair of Life Science Cares Bay Area and sitting on the boards of Girl Effect and the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center. Her ongoing professional focus centers on funding healthcare innovation and supporting biopharmaceutical startups that address critical unmet therapeutic needs while advocating for female entrepreneurs.
