Nina Foote

Nina Foote is a Partner at Volution based in San Francisco, California, where she leads investments in pre-seed and seed-stage technology companies. Since joining the venture capital firm in June 2023, she has focused on artificial intelligence, developer tools, fintech, and climate tech, recently leading the Series A investment in CodeForge in March 2025. Prior to her current partnership role, Foote served as an investor at Initialized Capital and held finance and operational positions at Bain & Company as well as various early-stage startups. Across her venture capital career, she has backed more than 20 companies, achieving notable portfolio exits to major technology firms while building an audience of over 5,000 professional followers. The Stanford University graduate leverages her combined background in financial strategy and startup operations to identify and scale emerging early-stage technology platforms.
