Niklas Adalberth is the Founder and CEO of the Norrsken Foundation and a Co-founder of Klarna, based in Stockholm, Sweden. While attending the Stockholm School of Economics in 2005, he established the digital payments company alongside childhood friends Sebastian Siemiatkowski and Victor Jacobsson. He served in an operational capacity until 2015, helping scale the enterprise to a $31 billion valuation with 35 million users across Europe. After departing his daily management role, Adalberth reduced his equity stake from eight percent to less than one percent to allocate approximately $125 million toward establishing the Norrsken Foundation. The charitable and venture capital organization currently houses over 125 companies within its Stockholm impact hub and operates a similar facility in Kigali, Rwanda. His current focus centers on early stage venture capital and social impact entrepreneurship, specifically backing startups addressing global challenges.
