Niki McKenzie

Niki McKenzie is the Joint Managing Director at Archangels and the incoming Chair of Angel Capital Scotland, based in Scotland, UK. Before joining Archangels in 2011, she spent 16 years working in corporate banking and structured finance, holding senior advisory roles at KPMG and Lloyds Banking Group. Over her 14-year tenure at the prominent investment syndicate, she has managed early-stage venture capital allocations specifically targeted at technology and life sciences startups. As a qualified Chartered Accountant, McKenzie also serves on the board of St Andrews Innovation and acts as a Trustee for National Museums Scotland. She will officially assume her new chairmanship at Angel Capital Scotland on January 1, 2026, further expanding her leadership footprint. Her professional background centers on providing strategic financial guidance and scaling early-stage ventures across the broader Scottish startup ecosystem.
