Nikhil Tiwari

Nikhil Tiwari is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frekil, a medical artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the two-person company in early 2025 to develop a specialized data engine for healthcare applications, securing backing from Y Combinator for its Spring 2025 cohort. Prior to founding Frekil, Tiwari worked as a software engineer focusing on infrastructure at Stripe and held additional engineering roles at Amazon and Marsh McLennan. He earned a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2025, where he served as a technical lead developing applications for over 10,000 students and conducted artificial intelligence research during an exchange program at CERN. His professional background centers on building scalable infrastructure and data systems to support advanced machine learning and medical AI deployments.
