Nikhil Goel

Nikhil Goel is the Co-Founder of SalaryBox, a mobile-first payroll and employee management SaaS platform based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. Alongside co-founder Peeyush Goyal, he established the software company in 2020 to streamline attendance tracking, salary calculations, and compliance for small businesses employing blue-collar and gray-collar workers. The startup participated in the Y Combinator S21 batch and subsequently raised a $4 million seed funding round in November 2021 from institutional investors including Soma Capital and 2 AM Ventures. Under his product leadership, the 40-person team has successfully scaled the application across India and Southeast Asian markets, accumulating over two million app installs and registering more than 200,000 businesses. The Indian Institute of Technology alumnus currently focuses on expanding HR technology and direct banking fintech integrations to drive broader financial inclusion for underserved workforce segments.
