Nigel Walder

Nigel Walder is a Partner, Co-Head of the Business Services vertical, and a member of the Europe Private Equity team at Bain Capital, where he also leads the firm's United Kingdom coverage across all industry groups. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Walder built an extensive career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, working across their offices in London and Hong Kong. During his tenure at the global bank, he most recently served as a Senior Managing Director specializing in European leveraged finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Oxford University and recently commented on 2024 market bifurcation trends while forecasting improved dealmaking activity for the second half of the year. As a seasoned private equity professional, his primary focus centers on driving business services investments throughout the broader European market.
