Sir Nigel Knowles is a Senior Advisor at DWF Group and Chairman of the fintech business OneDome, based in London. He previously spent 38 years at DLA Piper, serving as Global Co-CEO and Managing Partner from 1996 to 2015, where he oversaw revenue growth from £52 million to more than £1.5 billion across international markets. Before transitioning to his current advisory position, Knowles served as Chief Executive Officer of DWF Group from 2020 to 2025 and held the Chairman role starting in 2017. Knighted in 2009 for services to the legal industry, he also serves as Chairman of the diagnostics manufacturer BioSURE and previously chaired the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership. His career focuses on scaling international legal services, advising fintech enterprises, and guiding corporate governance across the life sciences and economic development sectors.
