Nienke Roef

Nienke Roef is an Associate at Graduate Entrepreneur and a member of the fund management team for the Graduate Entrepreneur Seed Fund. She previously served as the chair of the inaugural student board for the organization, which focuses on supporting early-stage technology companies emerging from local academic ecosystems. In her current capacity, Roef helps oversee a €21 million venture capital vehicle dedicated to making initial financial investments in promising young technology startups. The fund operates in close partnership with prominent academic institutions, specifically including Delft University of Technology, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Erasmus MC. She manages these strategic investment initiatives alongside experienced venture capital investors Auke van den Hout and Angela Pellaupessy. Roef currently focuses on bridging the gap between university research and commercial enterprise through targeted seed-stage venture capital investments across the broader region.
