Nicole Velho is an independent early-stage investor and advisor based in London, United Kingdom. She previously served as an Investment Director at Antler from 2021 to 2023, where she scaled the firm's European portfolio to over 100 investments and personally backed more than 50 startups. Before her tenure at Antler, Velho held venture scouting responsibilities at Entrepreneur First and worked in institutional operations at Barclays. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University College London (UCL) and has supported notable portfolio companies including Sereact, Oviva, and Climate X. After launching her independent advisory practice in 2023, she presented on climate tech investment trends at Web Summit 2024. Velho currently focuses on providing strategic capital and mentorship to early-stage founders operating within the climate tech, artificial intelligence, deep tech, and financial technology sectors.
