Nicolas Machado

Nicolas Machado is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Lume, an artificial intelligence startup based in New York. Founded in January 2023 and backed by Y Combinator, the company develops a platform that automates data mapping to accelerate customer integrations for software teams. Under his product leadership, Lume launched its initial software in March 2023, acquired dozens of enterprise and early-stage startup customers, and secured a funding round led by General Catalyst and Khosla Ventures in November 2024. Before establishing Lume, Machado studied computer science with a concentration in artificial intelligence at Stanford University, where he initially met his co-founders. He previously executed complex data integration projects during technical stints at major technology firms, including Apple. His current professional focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline business-to-business data mapping and customer onboarding processes.
