Nico MacDonagh

Nico MacDonagh is currently a Principal at VGC Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments across the consumer and technology sectors. Previously, he was one of four founding members of Btomorrow Ventures, where he helped launch and manage a £150 million corporate venture fund. During his tenure at the firm, he executed the full investment cycle for the fund's first fifteen portfolio additions. Before transitioning into the venture capital industry, MacDonagh pursued a career as an aspiring professional cricketer and subsequently served as the Head of Growth at the retail and media business known as Kick Game. He holds a first-class Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Management from Durham University. Today, his professional background combines direct startup operating experience with institutional investing to support scaling early-stage consumer and technology enterprises.
