Nico Laqua

Nico Laqua is a startup founder and full-stack software engineer who previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Corgi. Operating within the artificial intelligence and financial infrastructure sectors, he directed both the core technical engineering and strategic partnership initiatives for the firm. During his executive tenure, the financial technology startup was formally accepted into the Y Combinator Summer 2024 accelerator batch. Prior to his work in enterprise financial software, Laqua founded and scaled Basket, a consumer gaming publisher focused on digital distribution. Under his operational guidance, Basket expanded its global audience to reach more than 200 million monthly active users across its gaming portfolio. His current professional focus remains on leveraging his domain expertise in coding to execute early-stage technical development and build software companies from the ground up.
