Nick Tommarello

Nick Tommarello is the Founder and CEO of Wefunder, a startup crowdfunding platform based in San Francisco, California. Since co-founding the fintech company in 2012 following the passage of the JOBS Act, he has facilitated over $650 million in capital for more than 3,000 founders. Under his leadership, the platform enables retail investments as low as $100 and has generated significant early returns, including a notable 300x valuation multiple on Zenefits. Prior to launching Wefunder, Tommarello served as President of Urban Interactive, where he developed augmented reality software, and he founded Startup Workaway. He is an alumnus of both Y Combinator and Techstars, and he holds a business degree from Babson College. Tommarello's current focus remains on scaling regulatory crowdfunding infrastructure to democratize early-stage venture capital investment access for everyday retail investors globally.
