Nick Solaro

Nick Solaro is a US-based Partner at Drive Capital, where he has invested in growth-stage technology companies since the firm closed its first fund in January 2014. He holds an economics degree from Columbia University and began his professional career on Wall Street, eventually joining the technology equity research team at Goldman Sachs. Solaro later transitioned to a growth equity investor role at Technology Crossover Ventures before co-founding the technology startup Petwave.com. Following his entrepreneurial venture, he joined Google to help build and scale the company's Android mobile operating system business across multiple markets. Throughout his career, he has relocated from Seattle to New York and San Francisco to pursue emerging industry opportunities. Today, his investment focus centers on backing ambitious entrepreneurs who are building technology firms that target massive United States market opportunities exceeding $1 billion.
