Nick Rosa

Nick Rosa is the Managing Partner and Co-CEO of Sandbox Industries and Managing Director at Cultivian Sandbox, based in Chicago, Illinois. He co-founded Sandbox Industries in 2003 with Bob Shapiro to focus on corporate venture capital across the food, agriculture, and technology sectors. Prior to his venture capital career, Rosa served as CEO of The NutraSweet Company after leading its management buyout, and held senior executive positions overseeing nutrition and consumer products at Monsanto. His corporate background includes leadership roles at Baxter and Searle, alongside international assignments in Kuwait, Switzerland, and France. He currently represents Cultivian Sandbox on the boards of Nuritas and Geltor, while serving as a board member for Chicago Innovation and an advisor to TechStars Chicago. Rosa leverages his decades of executive leadership to bridge established agricultural corporations with emerging food technology startups.
