Nick Pianim

Nick Pianim is a Managing Director at DAG Ventures based in Palo Alto, California, where he leads investments in high-growth technology companies. Before joining the venture firm in 2007, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Juniper Networks from 2004 to 2007 and was the Chief Executive Officer of iAsiaWorks between 2000 and 2002. His earlier career includes executive roles such as Chief Financial Officer at Ensemble Communications, alongside financial positions at Morgan Stanley International and Enterprise Partners Venture Capital. At DAG Ventures, his portfolio features prominent investments and exits involving companies like FireEye, New Relic, SunRun, and Meraki, which was later acquired by Cisco. Holding an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSc from Tufts University, Pianim currently focuses on scaling enterprise software, infrastructure, financial technology, and security startups.
