Nick Moran

Nick Moran is the Managing Director of NewStack Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City, New York. In this role, he oversees investments in seed and Series A technology startups, recently raising a $50 million vehicle for the firm's second fund in 2024. His portfolio encompasses more than 20 investments across the enterprise software and SaaS sectors, including notable companies such as Pilot, Drata, and Vouch. Prior to NewStack, Moran held investment positions at Techstars, Mucker Capital, and Launchpad LA, and he earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He also produces an industry newsletter with over 50,000 subscribers and a podcast featuring more than 100 episodes on founder strategies. Moran currently focuses on providing go-to-market and operational guidance to early-stage technology and enterprise software founders.
