Nick Matthew is a Partner at Figment Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on the development of blockchain technology. In his current capacity, he manages the firm's deal sourcing pipeline, conducts rigorous technical due diligence on prospective investments, and provides ongoing strategic support for portfolio companies. His primary investment thesis centers on foundational Web3 infrastructure, specifically targeting the creation of new blockchains, the modular blockchain stack, decentralized middleware, and advanced zero-knowledge cryptography.
