Nick Kingsbury is a London-based Partner in the Early Stage Fund at Amadeus Capital Partners, where he primarily invests in artificial intelligence and deeptech startups. Before joining the venture capital firm in October 2018, he served as the Global Sector Head for Software at 3i plc from 1999 to 2007, advising on more than 80 technology investments. His entrepreneurial background includes founding a software consultancy that he successfully sold to Staffware plc in 1996, and he later chaired Accumuli plc until its £55 million acquisition by NCC Group in 2015. Kingsbury currently holds board director positions at several portfolio companies, including XYZ Reality, Brytlyt, and Sitehop, while also serving as a director for the ASX-listed Objective Corporation. His current investment focus centers on identifying and scaling early-stage enterprise software, cybersecurity, and quantum computing ventures.
