Nick Charman

Nick Charman is the Head of Climate and Investment Director at Elbow Beach Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in London, UK. He co-founded the investment vehicle in 2021 alongside Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Pollock and Thomas Hardy to back science-led solutions addressing global decarbonisation and sustainability challenges. In his current capacity, Charman manages the firm's deal flow, evaluates incoming startup pitches, and serves as a non-executive director on the corporate boards of multiple portfolio companies. Prior to transitioning his career into responsible and impact investing in 2017, he operated as a serial entrepreneur who founded, managed, and scaled several independent commercial businesses across various sectors.
